Mandy Anglemyer

As a graduate student, I am interested in working with adolescents and adults.  Those dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, substance abuse, self-image, and self esteem issues are of particular interest to me.  The transitional period for young adults can be difficult, and I look forward to working with young adults to address stressors that occur during this challenging life adjustment.

I am currently a graduate student working towards completing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I hold a B.A in psychology from UNCG, where I was also a member of the women’s soccer team.

I was born and raised in Greensboro, N.C. I am an avid football and basketball fan. I enjoy running, yoga, kayaking, camping, art, and reading. I appreciate time with my family and my dog Bella. I have been married for six years and have two grown sons.

In addition to my art and professional business experiences, I have cultivated personal growth as a parent and partner. My passion for counseling developed during my son’s struggle with mental health issues.

I believe physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being must be considered to achieve true healing. I am excited to walk alongside others as they seek to become healthier and live the fullest life that they can. I welcome the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele in an accepting, comforting, and collaborative environment.
