Dr. Kymmalett Ross

Dr. Kymmalett Ross works full-time as a forensic evaluator at Central Regional Hospital. She sees clients part-time, primarily on the weekends.

From Dr. Ross: Many of the individuals and families I work with are navigating complex legal and family situations. Parents, children, and adults involved in court processes may feel overwhelmed or uncertain about what comes next. Some families are working through custody matters or supervised visitation, while others are seeking clarity through psychological or forensic evaluations. What many share is a desire for stability, fairness, and a clearer understanding of the concerns being addressed within the legal system.

“I can and I will. Watch me.” This mindset guides my work. I provide supervised visitation services and conduct psychological and forensic evaluations that bring clarity to family and legal matters. My goal is to create a structured, professional environment where families can engage safely while also ensuring that evaluations are objective, thorough, and helpful to the court.

My professional training includes specialized work in clinical and forensic psychology, with a focus on psychological assessment in legal settings. I conduct evaluations addressing concerns such as psychological functioning, substance use, parental capacity, and other issues relevant to family court and child welfare matters. Through this work, I have experience with individuals facing trauma, substance use concerns, mood instability, and significant life stressors.

I understand that participating in supervised visitation or court-ordered evaluations can feel stressful and unfamiliar. I approach each case with professionalism, neutrality, and respect for all parties involved. My goal is to provide clear observations and accurate information that support informed decision-making while prioritizing the safety and well-being of families and children.
