I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Liberty University. In 2016-2017, I received additional training and gained experience during my internship at another private forensic psychology practice. This is where I developed an even deeper interest in working in the field of forensic and clinical psychology. At that internship, I assisted with criminal evaluations and pre-employment evaluations for law enforcement.
In 2017, when I joined KKJ, my training and experience in forensic and clinical psychology developed to include areas of Custody, Parental Capacity, Guardian Ad Litem, Child Protective Services, Substance Abuse, Personal Injury, and Adoption Readiness. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Associate in North Carolina. I have receiving further training in forensic psychology including Brief Child Forensic Evaluations and Collaborative Family Law. I love being able to be a part of a collaborative team with the KKJ psychologists and other mental health clinicians as we serve the needs of our clients and their families.
As the Evaluation Coordinator at KKJ, I am the first point of contact for new evaluation clients and attorneys. I oversee all evaluations for the practice and provide training to co-workers and new employees on the KKJ evaluation process and procedures.

From Lisa:
"I view life as a process of learning and adaptation. Life brings unexpected challenges that require some flexibility to navigate, but sometimes adjustments are difficult to manage. Gaining support and learning new skills can help us find our balance again. I find that to maintain my balance I need to take time each day, even if it is a few moments, in spiritual introspection and reading. I also find that my emotional well-being is always improved with exercise, even if it is just going for a walk with my family."
