Sometimes, life can throw a lot at you. It can be overwhelming and seem impossible to work through a myriad of complex feelings. Therapy could be the place for you to explore your feelings in a safe, nonjudgmental, productive way. No matter your life situation, I am committed to partnering with you and reaching your personal goals.
I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Carolina University and earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from Wake Forest University. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor- Associate in North Carolina. I am a former school counselor and have experience working with children, adolescents, caregivers, and school staff. I have training in High-Conflict Divorce and Resist/Refusal Dynamics. My work at KKJ revolves around providing counseling services for children, adolescents, and families working through separation and divorce. I offer individual therapy for children and adults, Reunification Therapy, and family therapy. Additionally, I provide parenting support to parents struggling with their child’s behavior.
I also assist with forensic evaluations for various populations and strive to create a welcoming and comforting environment for all of the people that I serve. I can assist with translation for Spanish speaking families as well.
In addition, I am the practice's Multi-Media Manager, so contact me if you would like to be added to our newsletter list!
